LIBRARY UPGRADE

Thanks to Heather Terry and her multitude of volunteers this summer - the library has been undergoing a fabulous upgrade. Books have been sorted, purged, properly labeled, and re-organized into new categories that make things so much easier to find. There are still some shelves to get through, but we are excited to start the year off in much better shape. Mrs. Miller is still our librarian and is ready to get students into books!
prayer walk - tomorrow (Tuesday)

We hope you will join us in the morning @7:30am as we walk through the campus and pray over the school, staff, students, parents, and the Lord's guidance for this school year. (Students are welcome to walk and pray with us as well - *Behavior in check please*)

There will be a photo opportunity in the workroom!

drop-off and pick-up procedures *new*

We hope that you enjoyed our video released last week.
There will be a map with arrows and directions for pick-up loaded Tuesday afternoon.
Please make sure you are in the correct line-up for your child's age.
(REMEMBER - IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHILD - YOU WILL CHOOSE THE OLDEST CHILD'S PICK UP TIMEFRAME!)
NOTE: For the first three days of school - parents will be allowed to walk in with their child. Starting August 25th - parents must use the drop-off line only before 8:00am.
Drop-Off Times:
7:20 - 8:00 - drive thru to drop-off (North Door: PreK - 3rd grades/siblings) and (Alleyway: 4th - 8th/siblings) - Parents with multiple children - Please choose the youngest child's age group for drop-off location!
After 8:00 - Parents must drop off at the main front door and walk their children into the building and sign students in at the office.

Pick-Up Times: Everyone will be picked up on the FHBA side (no church side pick-ups this year)
2:55 - PreK - 1st Grades (those with older siblings will wait until the older sibling's timeframe before being released this year - this is a change for this year.)
3:05 - 2nd - 5th Grades (same procedure for siblings)
3:15 - 6th - 8th Grades
Playground update - OUT WITH THE OLD.....

Ye Ole Playset and Swing sets are gone!
It was a bittersweet morning watching it go!

Special thanks to: Taylor and Emily Jones (and children), Mark Allen, and Bryan Bush for helping clear out the old equipment and hauling it off.
It was hot, sweaty work - but the team got it knocked out and looking good!

Don't forget to pre-order any ornaments that you may want from the old wood - we will open orders up to the public October 1st. It will be first come, first serve - limited availability.
