Middle School presented their Science Fair Projects to teachers and three judges last week! We are very proud of the hard work and amazing projects that were submitted. Below are the results:

Join us for our FHBA Track Meet that will be held this year at SFA!

Our 4th and 5th graders have been invited to compete and our Pep Squad will perform. 

There will be light concessions and lots of cheering for our Falcons. 

Make plans to attend and fellowship with us as we end our Track Season in a big way!

St. Cyprians School in Lufkin will also be in attendance and competing with us! 

Calendar Fundraiser - KEEP SELLING THOSE SPACES! 

We will be drawing for a Wal-Mart Gift Card and Pop -It Pro Game this Friday for any calendars that are returned filled in this week! (These students will still be entered in for the final prizes as well)!

So far - Mrs. Ferrigan's class is in the lead for the class party!

Our Goal is to pay for the A/C ($11,700) - we are at $3000!  Let's get those calendar spaces sold!! 

Due to many issues with space, planning, and feedback from both teachers and parents - we have decided to put this day to better use this school year!

MAY 1ST: (FRIDAY)

• Normal 7:20-8:00 school drop-off
• Students will finish up any testing from the week, classroom items or work until 9:00am
• 9:00am:  Students will head to the gym as a whole school to watch "DAVID" on the big screen complete with movie concessions. 
• After the movie - students will move outside to play games and enjoy outdoors on the playground.
• 11:30am:  School will be dismissed and ALL STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BE PICKED UP! ***No Edge***
• (Parents are welcome to come and watch the movie with their child but not required!)

Next year - our Field Day will move toward a more traditional Field Day off campus that resembles our FHBA Track Meet!

Achievement testing will be administered to all students grades Kindergarten - 8th grade next week. 

Please ensure that your students are getting to bed early, eating healthy breakfasts, and are on time to school! 

While we do not pressure students with testing as public schools do with STAAR testing, we do want the students to do their very best and feel good about their work. 

Please make sure you are checking with the office or your child's teacher about their schedules to refrain from pulling them out for appointments during testing times.

All supplies needed by your teacher are in one kit and will be delivered to the school this summer, ready and sitting on your child's desk at Meet the Teacher in August!
