Lunches for October are available to pre-order!
The window will close @8:30am September 23rd!
Menu for October:
- Wednesdays: Canes
- Thursdays: Lovin' From My Oven - (Tacos and Enchiladas)
- Fridays: Pizza Hut

student council week
Student council elections are this week!
Students brought posters, will give speeches in chapel tomorrow, and will have campaigns and elections on Friday!
We are excited to find out who will be the officers for our student council this school year!

progress reports
Look for progress reports in your child's backpack on Thursday or Friday.
This report is important as it shows the current status of your child.
This gives them and you a chance to visit about it and step up/correct or ask questions about grades.
It is not a final Report Card grade - until it is - it can be turned around if needed - it can also go backwards.
Stay on top of homework, classwork, and communication with teachers.

first fhba pep rally of the year - friday
Our first pep rally of the school year will be September 19th @2:20pm in the FHBC gym!
We will be celebrating our Cross Country team and showcasing our Pep Squad!
Join us for all the fun!!
We will start promptly at 2:20 - try to be in place in the gym by 2:15 so you do not miss out!

soaring falcon and beak of the week
The Soaring Falcon of the Cushing XC Meet is Dallas Tarpley!
Soaring Falcons are chosen based on their performance, team spirit and overall attitude.
Congratulations Dallas - we are very proud of you!
Our Beak of the Week last week was Cooper Rab!
Beak of the Week is chosen based on an athlete's participation in practice, determination, and growth during the week of practice.

CROSS COUNTRY TO COMPETE In Jacksonville saturday!
Our Falcon athletes will be competing in Jacksonville Saturday morning!

Playground update
Not much news to report this week on our playground - but we look forward to some exciting changes happening very soon! Stay tuned!
Don't forget to pre-order any ornaments that you may want from the old wood - we will open orders up to the public October 1st. It will be first come, first serve - limited availability.
Email Mrs. Allen - tallen@fhbacademy.org if you want to be on the list for wooden ornaments constructed from the old wooden playground set.
